Joe is a naturalist with a particular interest in ecocentrism and forest ecosystems. As a mature student with Royal Holloway, he is currently undertaking a part-time PhD focused on the conservation of forest insects and arachnids. He holds a BA and MA in Zoology from the University of Cambridge and has also completed an MSc in Forestry with Bangor University. Joe is a Fellow of the Linnean Society and the Zoological Society of London, and he participates in the United Nations’ Harmony with Nature programme as a Knowledge Network Expert.
